Did you ever have the experience when you were growing up and acting particularly snotty as a teenager, where your mom or dad cursed you with this sentiment, "I hope you have a kid just like you when you grow up!" Well... karma sucks, because I am now raising ME...only with testosterone! After going 10 rounds with Nathan today, it finally hit me how much I must have put my own poor mother through. I just keep telling myself: Somehow, I survived. Let's hope Nathan makes it, too.I am surrounded by Y chromosomes MOST of the time. I have to put the toilet seat down at least once a day, meals are often accompanied by sound effects, and anything frou-frou is very out of place in our mostly masculine home. BUT if I had the chance, I wouldn't change my life at all! ...Well, maybe the toilet seat thing...

How is it that my mom did not throttle me on a regular basis?
Did you ever have the experience when you were growing up and acting particularly snotty as a teenager, where your mom or dad cursed you with this sentiment, "I hope you have a kid just like you when you grow up!" Well... karma sucks, because I am now raising ME...only with testosterone! After going 10 rounds with Nathan today, it finally hit me how much I must have put my own poor mother through.
